Our Vision
The vision for EDI is to see an Ethiopian society in which a holistic and balanced development process is put in place, giving women, girls and the youth the societal significance and place they deserve in building a self-reliant, culturally, socially, political and economically advanced Ethiopia whose peoples are guaranteed equity between the sexes and among the generations.
Our Mission
EDI works for the fullest realization of social, cultural and economic inclusion and development of women, girls and the youth through researching, organizing sensitization forums, provision of skills development and capacity building opportunities in close collaboration with civil society institutions working on gender, health, Peace and Security. Environment and poverty eradication on the basis of the country’s long-term development plan.
